Optimized Benefits
Sales Perspective
Our brokers have exclusive access to Optimized Benefits, a value added discount card, as a way to differentiate themselves from other brokers when competing for groups who have employees who are either not eligible for insurance or cannot afford insurance.
Optimized Benefits is provided at no cost to the broker or the group. The employee accesses the pharmacy, vision, and fitness programs for free and have an option to purchase the voluntary dental discount card and/or the limited health plan, for which the broker earns a commission. The employee deals directly with the Optimized Benefits call center thus eliminating the need for the broker or group to get involved.
The membership card is branded, "Provided by (broker's name)", to further signify the broker's commitment and value to the group. Optimized Benefits is available to all new business written through Emerson Reid.
