Englewood, NJ - Renewal Specialist

The Renewal Specialist is responsible for day-to-day quoting of renewals in support of our Broker Consultants, Account Executives and Brokers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Field specific questions from Brokers regarding plan options and coverage.
- Assist Account Executives, Broker Consultants & Brokers in quoting renewal
  alternatives.
- Process plan changes submitted by Account Executives, Broker Consultants and
  Brokers.
- Provide follow-up communication and approvals for Brokers on plan changes and
  open enrollment issues.
- Assist Brokers with compliance for state specific Employer Verification forms (ER
  Certifications).
- Download renewal copies from carrier websites to ERC shared drive and forward all
  net pay carriers to appropriate Brokers.
- Coordinate efforts with team members, especially at month end to facilitate plan
  changes and ensure quality and turn-around times meet ERC standards.
- Strive to stay up-to-date with insurance regulations, carrier plan options,
  underwriting rules and other value added programs offered by ERC to the Brokers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with products, services, competitive offerings, market needs and industry
  trends.
- Must be able to understand, interpret and convey technical information to others.
- Must be personable, credible and tactful.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of information systems and databases.
- Knowledgeable in office technology applications including Word, Excel, etc.
- Must have excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry, with carrier requirement and plan
  option knowledge.

Harrisburg, PA - Quoting Specialist

This individual would be responsible for day-to-day quoting of groups and individual products in support of our broker consultants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Understanding of business requirements for each carrier, Norvax and HealthConnect. - Provide data entry for quoting medical and ancillary products.
- Process carrier renewals to brokers and/or clients as directed by the Team Leader.
- Ensure quality and turn-around times meet the ERC standards.
- Special projects as assigned, including training of broker staff members.
- Technical consultant for quoting and renewal functions within ERC.
- Maintain relationships with Broker Consultants to ensure we support the brokers and
  ensure appropriate work flow between ERC and broker partners.
- Provide weekly reporting to Team Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS:
